Amazing time on this tour! Full of fun, excitement and adventure. Birds were amazing but that moment when you hear the commotion of a whale sighting and everything changes to high alert and the chase is on. Loved every moment of it. Beautiful ride. Guide was friendly and fun. Had a "screeching in" onboard as well near the end of the tour. Lots of fun and well worth the money.
Brilliant tour. Managed to make a boat tour on a wet cold day interesting. Great way to see some amazing birds even after the Whales have left for warmer climes.
A breath of fresh air literally!!! My husband and I had a great experience on the boat tour (approximately 2 weeks ago), we both saw a whale for the first time, very exciting but the puffins where definitely the highlight of our day!!! Not too mention the 4 eagles we saw, spectacular! The crew were amazing, friendly and very informative hats off to them. I would recommend this tour to everyone.
A great experience for a great price. The staff are a riot, cracking jokes and singing songs and doing everything they can to see whales. They even included a bird expert to explain the different species and their characteristics. The sites are beautiful. There's a bar on board. I will definitely do this tour again when I come back. Next time I will take advantage of the ability to get screeched in.
Our boat tour was in the morning on a beautiful sunny day. Our tour guide was very friendly and cracked lots of jokes as well as singing us some great Newfoundland songs. We just had such a wonderful time as we were able to see a huge amount of puffins flying overhead and on the rocky cliffs along with a variety of other seabirds. My highlight had to be seeing two types of whale (minke and humpback). It was so special as the humpback mum and calf followed our boat, swimming underneath and around it. It really took my breath away. O'Brien's were respectful of the whales and got close but not too close.
